Your full-spectrum medical care, at home
Think of us as your regular GP, but with a difference – we come to you!
Our GPs can manage long term health problems like high blood pressure or diabetes, provide routine scripts, specialist referrals, care plans and everything else a GP clinic can do (with only a few exceptions such as minor surgeries).
If you need blood or other pathology tests then we refer you to a mobile bulk billed pathology service who comes to you. We can also refer to other healthcare providers who provide home visits if needed.
Telehealth complemented by in-person care
At Perth Home GP, we provide both Telehealth and Home Visit appointments. Our GPs will guide you on the most appropriate consultation for your individual care needs, bringing you all the benefits of a GP telehealth service without compromising on quality in-person care when it matters.
Telehealth works well when you don’t require a physical examination — such as prescription renewals, referrals, discussing results or doing reports. You can also invite a relative or loved one to join the consultation from afar. However, when you are unwell or have complex medical issues you often need face-to-face care.

Important information
If you’re enrolled in Medicare you’re eligible for the Extended Medicare Safety Net (EMSN). Once your out-of-pocket medical expenses reach the threshold (below) in a calendar year, Medicare will cover up to 80% of any further out-of-pocket expenses you have for out-of-hospital medical services that are subsidised under the MBS. You don’t need to register if you are an individual with no dependants. Medicare keeps a tally of all your out of pocket expenses and gap amounts. If you are part of a family or couple you will need to register online – that way you will reach the threshold sooner. You only have to register once.
