Learn more about regular visits

Our service is designed to offer the comfort and continuity of having the same dedicated doctor come to your house for regular visits. Our local GPs in Perth provide a personal touch with the convenience of a 24/7 door-to-door service, ensuring you receive consistent, quality care throughout the day and into the night. Booking a private consultation with us means you can enjoy the standard, comprehensive care of a general practitioner, right in your living room. We specialize in family and elderly care, mirroring the full spectrum of services you’d expect at GP clinics, but with the added benefit of a familiar face and the ease of staying at home.

At Perth Home GP, we pride ourselves on timely medical attention.  Our goal is to see our patient within 2-3 hours of booking; however this is dependent on patient demand and the patient’s geographical location.  We would aim to see to your needs faster than if you were to attend a medical centre clinic.

For the current wait time and to find out if a mobile doctor is near you now, please call us on 1300 815 321 to book an appointment, any time of the day or night.

After Hours Care

You don’t need to attend a clinic to receive GP care after hours. Our Home GPs can manage all of your urgent care needs in the comfort of your home.

Acute Worsening of Chronic Conditions

Short term management of asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes and other chronic medical conditions until you see your usual GP.

Injuries & Infections

Our Home GPs can treat gastroenteritis, respiratory illnesses, injuries, aches & pains, urinary tract, ear & skin infections – ensuring a quick recovery.

Certification and Referrals

Our GPs can provide medical and return to work certificates as well as specialist referrals.

Elderly Care

Our GPs are experts in providing care to older adults in the home environment. We take the time to understand your care needs and liaise with your support network and care providers to keep you safely at home and out of hospital.

Disability Care

Many people with disabilities can access a wide range of care providers at home via the NDIS, however traditionally Home GP care has been hard to access. Our Home GPs can work closely with you, your family and your supports to tailor our care provision to meet your requirements.

Paediatric Care

Taking your unwell child to the GP or Emergency Department can be stressful and challenging, particularly for parents with multiple children. Our Home GP visits offer a more pleasant and effective way to assess children, who are calmer and more comfortable in their own environment.

Important information

If you’re enrolled in Medicare you’re eligible for the Extended Medicare Safety Net (EMSN). Once your out-of-pocket medical expenses reach the threshold (below) in a calendar year, Medicare will cover up to 80% of any further out-of-pocket expenses you have for out-of-hospital medical services that are subsidised under the MBS. You don’t need to register if you are an individual with no dependants. Medicare keeps a tally of all your out of pocket expenses and gap amounts. If you are part of a family or couple you will need to register online – that way you will reach the threshold sooner. You only have to register once.

EMSN Thresholds (2023)

$770.30 – Concession card holders or Family Tax Benefit Part A

$2,424 – All others
