Averil is a Perth local who completed her medical degree at The University of Western Australia in 2014 and achieved her Fellowship in General Practice in 2021.
Averil enjoys general practice, palliative care, medical education and digital health. She is passionate about supporting patients to achieve their best possible quality of life and provides considered, evidence-based care tailored to each individual.
In her spare time, Averil plays ultimate frisbee, keeps a worm farm, and is a fan of the Peanuts comics.

I have had 2 doctors out to see my father & they have both been very good. The second doctor, Dr Averil Tam, was excellent in dealing with my father & doing a thorough check of him & explaining things to him. I would definitely recommend this service, especially if you find it difficult to get to a clinic to see a doctor.

Great service from speaking to reception team when setting up the appt, to Dr Tam arriving at my house and taking time to explain to me why I was feeling so poorly. All round, an excellent experience. Highly recommend.
