Meet the Perth Home GP team
Fifteen GPs, a practice nurse and a consultant geriatrician, caring for people in their own homes across Perth, Rockingham and Mandurah. Every one of our doctors is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, so whoever comes to you is a fully qualified GP.

FAQs
Will I see the same GP at each visit?
Regular Care is our ongoing service for patients who want a usual GP. If you sign up, one GP looks after you from visit to visit, and when they are not available another of our GPs covers so your care carries on. For a one off appointment, the GP who comes is whoever is working that day. Every one of them is a fully qualified GP we are glad to have on the team.
Are all of your doctors fully qualified GPs?
Yes. All fifteen of our doctors hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM), the same qualification you would expect from a clinic-based GP.
Are female doctors available?
Several of our GPs are women. We cannot guarantee the gender of the doctor who visits, because it depends on who is rostered for your suburb that day. Do tell us when you book if it matters to you and we will do what we can.
What does the practice nurse do?
Wendy Wybrott carries out health assessments, care planning and Regular Care patient onboarding, so ongoing care is set up properly from the start.
How does the geriatrician fit in?
Dr John Kitchin carries out Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments by telehealth. That gives our GP team expert support for patients who need specialist input to guide their care, and he specialises in Parkinson’s and dementia.
