Dr Mike Patton

A passionate advocate for home-based care, Dr Mike is committed to improving access for patients who are housebound or face barriers attending traditional clinics. In 2015, he co-founded Airclinix, a mobile-first practice management system designed to modernise how GPs deliver care. In 2016, he launched Night Doctor, an after-hours home visit service.
Recognising that the greatest unmet need wasn’t after-hours care, but daytime support for vulnerable patients, Dr Mike went on to found Perth Home GP in 2020. His vision: to bring comprehensive, clinic-quality care directly into patients’ homes.
Outside of medicine, Mike is a proud partner and father of two. He enjoys fishing, rugby, cricket and spending quality time with his family over board games and retro video games.

Perth Home GP provides a reliable, efficient, professional home GP visiting service. Dr Mike Patton, as regular GP, has provided outstanding care and follow up, in the comfort of home, to my elderly mother and son with a physical disability. This exceptional service, which also includes telehealth appointments, is supported by friendly and efficient reception staff and a state of the art booking system. I highly recommend Perth Home GP for the high level of care the team provides.

I’ve been genuinely impressed by this service and honestly don’t know how I ever managed without it. Appointments are easy to book and available quickly, and the home visits are unhurried, thorough, and incredibly convenient. It’s also wonderfully simple to organise what you need, being able to call and have a script sent straight to your phone is such a relief. The doctor arrives with a nurse, and for the first time in years I felt someone actually took the time to listen to every concern I had. He didn’t rush, he took a full and detailed medical history, and I felt genuinely heard and supported. They're available after hours and they come home to you. The whole experience feels caring, accessible and refreshingly human. I feel its rare to find a service that makes healthcare so incredibly easy. Thanks to Dr Mike Patton and his employees.
